Open House at Cambourne Business Park

20 Dec 2002

A recent Open Evening at Cambourne Business Park was a great success with over 150 residents joining the Business Park team for a festive pre-Christmas drink and mince pies.

As well as finding out more about the companies now working on the Park and seeing the award-winning buildings, residents were able to question the team on the future development plans for the Park.

“One of the questions most frequently asked by the residents during the evening was about jobs at the Business Park,” said Lesley Scobell, the Park's marketing executive and green travel co-ordinator. “We are extremely keen to encourage the live-work ethos and will be exploring ways and means of providing such information.”

One of the highlights of the evening was a short carol concert by 16-strong Monkfield Primary School Orchestra led by its Music Co-ordinator Mrs Sharon Brandon. Afterwards the developers presented Mrs Brandon with a bouquet of flowers and each member of the orchestra received a voucher in appreciation for providing the musical entertainment.
