Bus travel becomes ‘eggstemely’ tempting!

9 April 2009

To celebrate improvements to the bus services in Cambourne, commuters who travelled by bus on Thursday April 9 were greeted by the Easter Bunny and treated to a free Easter Egg!

“We regularly promote bus commuting to Cambourne Business Park as part of our Green Travel Plan. Not only is it cost-effective and ‘green’, it is becoming more and more convenient and easy to use,” explains Lesley Scobell, Green Travel Co-ordinator at Cambourne Business Park. “And this year the Easter Bunny helped us tempt commuters on to the buses.”
From Easter Sunday onwards the citi 4 service has been extended to run every hour from Cambourne to Eltisley, St Neots and the railway station. Some improvements have also happened to the No. 18 service from Cambridge. This now calls at Cambourne Business Park every hour and also stops in Grantchester, Barton, Toft, Bourn and Longstowe.
