CAMBOURNE BUSINESS PARK SECURES ANOTHER HIGH-TECH CAMBRIDGE LETTING COMPLETING BUILDING 2020

12 Jul 2005

Development Securities PLC, Wrenbridge Land Limited and Morley Fund Management announced today that ip.access ltd has signed an agreement to let 20,000 sq ft of prime office space at Cambourne Business Park, Cambridge.

ip.access will move their offices to the brand new Building 2020 on a 10-year lease. ip.access is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TTP Communications plc, which focuses on providing the very best GSM-over-IP cellular coverage solutions (website:www.ipaccess.com).

This completes the letting of Building 2020, leaving only 50,000 sq ft available on the business park. The remaining accommodation is available in Building 2030, which can be taken either as a single building for a headquarters office, or alternatively the space offers excellent flexibility for smaller requirements.

Simon Hesketh, Development Securities PLC, commented:

“We are delighted to have secured another letting to a leading high-tech company demonstrating once again that Cambourne Business Park is well placed to meet the expansion of the Cambridge technology sector. The remaining 50,000 sq ft building, Building 2030, would suit either a single occupier looking for quality new headquarters offices, or smaller occupiers seeking flexible space in a high profile building, all in a parkside setting with a feast of amenities on the doorstep”.

Building 2020 forms part of Cambourne Business Park’s 140,000 sq ft second phase, which was forward funded with Morley Fund Management. The construction of the phase began speculatively at the end of 2000. ip.access joins CDT, Convergys and Citrix on the business park, leaving only 50,000 sq ft available to let.

Located nine miles from Cambridge city centre, the 750,000 sq ft Business Park is an integral part of the new Cambourne settlement, a 1,040 acre scheme of 3,300 houses with town centre, hotel, retail and leisure facilities.
