Photography Competition: Focus and win at Cambourne Business Park
26 Apr 2006
Cambourne Business Park has launched its first photographic competition with some high quality prizes on offer. The park hopes these will encourage local amateur photographers to train their viewfinders on the park’s award-winning built environment. The top prize for the over-16s is a Canon EOS 350D digital SLR camera worth more than £500 and the winner of the under 16’s category will receive a Nikon Coolpix 4800 digital camera worth £249. Runners up in both categories will also receive Nikon Coolpix digital cameras.
Simon Hesketh of Development Securities, one of the park’s joint developers, explains the idea behind the competition, “We are proud of the quality of architecture and environment here at Cambourne Business Park, so are keen for people to visit the park and take a closer look at what we have to offer. We look forward to participants in the competition coming to see for themselves why Cambourne Business Park has won two major industry awards. We have also opened up the competition to under-16s so the whole community can get involved.”
The theme of the competition is “glass, water, steel, sky” and all entries must include two of these elements in their composition. All valid entries will be photographs of buildings or landscaping at Cambourne Business Park. The competition’s closing date is May 31st and all entries must be in by that date.
