Photograhy Competition 2008

12 May 2008

Calling all amateur photographers!
Fantastic prizes to be won in photography competition

The 2008 Cambourne Business Park photography competition has exciting prizes on offer for both adults and under-17s.

“We always get an excellent response from local amateur photographers and an amazing variety of high quality, creative compositions to consider. ‘The Business Environment’ is this year’s theme – and as the Business Park has an award-winning built environment we are hoping entrants will find lots of material there to stimulate their creativity,” says Lesley Scobell, Marketing Co-ordinator for Cambourne Business Park.

The top prize for the adult category is a Canon EOS 400D camera with an EFS lens, and the winner of the under-17s category will receive a Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd digital camera worth £100. The adult runner up will win a Canon Powershot A720IS digital camera and the runner up in the under-17s category will receive a Fujifilm Finepix F480 digital camera.

Julian Cobourne, Asset Manager at Morley Fund Management, owners of Phase II of Cambourne Business Park, explains the idea behind the competition,
“We are very proud of the quality of architecture and landscaping here and the competition is one of a series of initiatives we use to encourage a wider range of people to come to the park and take a closer look. We have opened up the competition to under-17s so the whole community can get involved.”

All valid entries will be photographs of buildings or landscaping at Cambourne Business Park. The competition’s closing date is July 2nd.

Judging will take place in July and the winners notified by 24 July 2008. For full details and the rules of the competition, visit www.cambournebusinesspark.co.uk or call Lesley Scobell on 01223 472071.
